"Ronnie has been diagnosed with the early stages of stomach cancer. We are starting treatment immediately at the Mayo Clinic. After he kills this dragon, Ronnie will be back on stage, where he belongs, doing what he loves best, performing for his fans.

Thanks to all the friends and fans around the world that have sent well wishes. This has really helped to keep his spirit up.

i do believe chuck berry can claim that title.
his first single, "maybelline" was cut and released on chess records in 1955.
chuck is around 82 or 83 years old now, and he is still touring every year.

as to ronald padavona, he has stage 1 stomach cancer.

Met Ronnie in '94 at the winter NAMM show in Anaheim. Super nice guy...

I hope he beats this. He is one of Rock/Metal's greatest singers.

i met ronnie back in may of this year when heaven & hell was doing an instore signing
for "the devil you know" at best buy in san bernardino.

helluva great guy.
my fucking cousin sarah, who is one of the biggest sheep van hagar fans on the planet,
walks up to dio, and told him he was hot and she wanted to make out with him.

her husband was right there, dio asked larry if it was cool, and larry said it was cool.
wendy dio was nowhere in sight.

so my cousin made my cousin's wish come true.

he is only 5 feet 3 inches, and she is 5 feet 9 inches.........she was so happy afterwards.............you could not wipe the smile off of her face.
