Not complaining, but would it be too much to ask, to set the board so that quotes are not in italics?
It IS slightly bothersome trying to read lengthy posts in italics.
I sorta feel italics are just meant to emphasize a word here or there.
I mean, we could just as easily set the board to make quotes bold or in different colors or something, eh?
Just my 2 cents.
Actually, I believe what is actually done when someone clicks the "Reply With Quote" button is place that post in a "Blockquote" form, which is usually in italics form....
At least that's what I've seen...

I have no clue about the behind the scenes workings of UBB software, you know more than I do on this subject. I checked out the possibility that I could edit the quote after the fact...in the hopes the quoted section was enclosed in html formatting [ i][/i], but that is not the case, so there is nothing I can do as an end-user of this board.
