"turns you from hunted into HUNTER"

Hunter is a police drama television series starring Fred Dryer as "Sgt. Rick Hunter" and Stepfanie Kramer as "Sgt. Dee Dee McCall", which ran on NBC from 1984 to ....obvious preshadowing!!:tongue0011:
Another one of those classic genius posts, sure to generate responses. You log on the next day to see what your witty gem has produced to find no one gets it and 2 knotheads want to stick their dicks in it... Well played, sir!!

That's fuckin' hilarious!!!! Well done, PB!!

God....I hope the new album rumors are true and we can find something substantial to discuss SOON....because some folks are really scraping the bottom of the barrel.

In fact, I believe the bottom of this particular barrel has a hole in it from excessive scraping....

I think it's also fairly obvious that when Dave says "I'm talkin' some new kicks..." he's paying homage to the famous "Route 66" song made famous by composer Bobby Troup. Because you could, of course, "get your kicks on Route 66."

Interestingly, Bobby Troup also played the role of Dr. Joe Early on the 1970's TV show "Emergency!", which no doubt inspired DLR to get into the medical field as an EMT.

This is going to be fun. It might even spawn an entirely new thread where people with far too much time on their hands can post their ridiculous VH lyric interpretations....

Bruce Dickinson's "Killing Floor" is a nod to* David Lee Roth, because he sings "Who's rockin' the cradle", which is an obvious reference to Van Halen's "And the Cradle Will Rock", which was sung by Dave.

              * "A nod to" is a highly retarded expression & I hate it with a passion. It's one of my pet peeves, along with people who say "pet peeve", which is another highly retarded expression.

              Cheers! :bottle:

The mindless wanking in Paul Gilbert's "Three E's for Edward" is obviously a nod to Edward Van Halen
Reading Crazy From the Heat in four hours flat, in a cramped RV, on the return trip of a 3,000+ mile family outing to New Jersey is an enlightening experience you'll never forget.
