ladies and gentlemen, the REAL game!

I'll be seeing the Dragons v Sea Eagles at Jubilee this Sunday - last year was (another) learning lesson for us. This year, St. Benny will lead us to go all the way...
And if I wanna choke this year round then I'll go to a dominatrix for some bondage, thank you.
Cheers!
good onya grant! i started this for us anzacs,
but hopefully we can get some of the statesiders
into our great game. i know dan will be pumped,
the warriors are in with a shot...
since the bunnies got eradicated, i'm a raider
for the rest of the year. go canberra!!!
Oh Hell Yeah,Maybe This Year The Warriors Can Do It.

jeez dan, if your lot show up and play footy, you're half a chance.
at home i'm predicting a narrow titans win.
Ash,We Couldn't Pull It Off.
No Wonder I Drink Root Beer.
mate, they did play well in spurts.
poor 5th tackle options, fatigue got the better of 'em.
i've been to a couple of games up there at skilled,
the homeground adv. is huge, the titans fans are mental!!!
aaaah well, tonight we have tigers v roosters, raiders v panthers,
which should be a cracker. two very aggro teams going apeshit on each other.
go canberra!!!!
I missed last night's matches!! For some reason I got hooked on watching Spartacus on the other channel.
I can't believe that comeback by the Roosters, that's awesome! Normally I loathe to the bone the poshos from the Eastern Suburbs but glad to see them get over the Tigers (probably because I have some mates who are Tigers fans). And looks like the Raiders have become the dark horse in this final series...
Will have to watch The Sunday Roast for all the highlights.
Sorry about the Warriors, Dan. To "make things better" may I suggest you switch to James Boags...

Thanks mate! It was a good win. The only thing I'm a bit concerned over is all the penalty goals we opted to take when the scoreline was still fairly close - it was the very thing that did us in last year. I recall the when the Broncos knocked us out, Soward opted for a penalty goal in the early stages...from about 40m out!! Phil Gould had ants in his pants when he saw that.
You know Hopoate's son is playing for Manly now...I wonder if Dessie Hasler says to him at training, "Hey, cut out that finger-arse crap!!" Poor bastard would've copped plenty of that growing up.
Being unemployed mate, I can never afford to be sober. Cheers! :bottle:
Ok Boys,Have To Go With The Canberra Raiders Tonight by 4.
There You Go Boys,West Tigers By 2 Last Night Like I Said.
Great game! But when Canberra got that penalty towards the end of the game, and opting for the goal kick to square the game, I said I hope this doesn't become shades of Luke Burt from a few weeks ago...and that's exactly what happened!!
Besides the Tigers (milked) penalty from right in front earlier eventually decided it for them...so I'll blame the flamin' ref as I normally would do.
Tonight, I'll have to go Roosters by 8.
(And always remember - bet responsibly, boys)
No Wild Bets.
Roosters By 12.
Six-pack On That.
Cheers To Grant and Ash.:bottle:
damn! really wanted another golden point thriller.
all righty then, i'll go panthers by 4
is it too early to predict a dragons v titans gf?
ironic, cause the dragons were the first side the titans ever played in season proper '07
cheers boys!
This Says It All.
Wooden-spooners last year, the Sydney Roosters will challenge for a place in the NRL grand final after a crushing 34-12 win over an injury-decimated Penrith on Saturday night.
BTW.....Hope You Boys Made Some Money On This Game.
And who would've thought that the best thing that could possibly happen to the Roosters was getting rid of Willie Mason. *end sarcasm* I like it!!
After his performance last night, It's almost high time for Petro Civoniceva (aka "Fridge 'N' Freezer" aka "Seventy Cents A Litre") to hang up his boots now.
I don't like to predict which 2 teams will make it (being Dragons supporter don't wanna send off any dodgey omens) but I think will be Dragons v Titans final - although would be nice to see Roosters make it to bring back some nostalgia.
I'll have to consult the Octopus...
Well, since it's another week before having to wait for more exciting matches instore for us - and given much time until then will be spent on enduring Danny Weidler "exclusives", annoying X-Factor promos, and more news about broken election promises by Ms Gillard - I thought I'd spice this thread with some good ole beer/bourbon ads from the past that makes ad breaks during the footy enjoyable...
Cheers!

todd rundgren.
tigers v dragons, benji thinks he's the underdog.
roosters v titans, a mini will play in the gf.
i've been a tipping jeneus all year,
look at the match ups in the halves, centres, wings, and forwards.
tiges are on a roll. them by 4. their defence has been awesome, low score.
titans will be imposssible to beat at home. a full strength roosters side will be bashed by the titans.
speed and strength and commitment.
bit of experience too, i hope they get there for all the old fellas.
I'm gonna go Dragons by 10 - although I feel most of the game will indeed be fairly tight but I think they'll wear the Tigers down in the 2nd half through faith and their renewed-discipline to add on a few more points. And despite coming off a week's rest they'll be too methodical not to allow themselves to choke again this year, and the Tigers will just get caught up in their (supposedly deserved) fairytale. I hope I'm right...
Titans by 4 - I'm predicting that the Roosters will certainly give them a run for their money and will be a tight game the whole way through. To be a real cracker!
Damn,Tigers By 6.
Titans By 12.
Wow...Roosters 32-6 over the Titans. I wonder how many people out there at the start of the season tipped them to make the final...
jeeez grant, way too good. great scrambling defence, and i thought their attacking angles caught the titans by surprise.
cartwright should have been onto that.
zillman's mistakes really hit the momentum on the head,
dunno mate, the more seasons go by, i'm really starting to think that week off can hurt ya!
Like I said,Roosters By 26 Points.
OH WHEN THE SAINTS GO MARCHING IN, OH WHEN THE SAINTS GO MARCHING IN...
Cheers boys!!!
You had me going there mate on changing the score in my post - kicking myself silly that I didn't put some $$$ on it lol.
Btw, this one's for Alfie, you little taunting menacing stupid-talking little bastard...

The Rabbitohs smashed the sixth-placed Canberra Raiders 64-18 at ANZ Stadium last night (Sat, Sept 25) to secure a finals berth against the second-placed Warriors
hahah! unbelievable game, mate. and i get to see the rabbits in a gf!!!!
when you see the replay, there was a moment in the 63rd min, tiges were hammering
the line... the st george defence was a wall. a red and white fucking wall.
