Looks like that hypothetical long week is becoming a reality.

How much I detest The Jets, I love seeing Bill Belichick choke.
pack plays pittsburg in the superbowl.
What's astounding is how ugly the Jets win...
Their secondary really makes that team...and they can pressure the QB...
Their offense fucking sucks...but their defense doesn't allow big plays, and does allows the Jets to play ball possession football.
They win ugly...and to be honest...draw teams in...
Seriously...how the fuck did they win?
And Belisuck...is now 5-5 in his last five playoff appearances, in the six years since their last super bowl...

the nfc championship game is gonna make the superbowl a letdown....
Am I the only one that thinks that these two teams are equally as likely to lay a fucking egg as look good?
Don't get me wrong...I think both teams are spectacular when they are flying...but I've seen both play like shitholes...
Go figure...Marino and Cowher side with the Steelers...faggot Boomer and Shannon...with the Jets...
Both teams have looked great this year...and shitty...
I think all have good coaches...
Three have fantastic QB, while one of those three can implode at times...
Three have rock solid D's...
Three have good rB's...
Anybody's ballgame...
egg from chicago for sure, can you imagine what the packer d will do to sanchez and the jets? again.............
green bay is a 3 point favorite already.....
Nah, the Super Bowl has better commercials.
Truthfully, the Super Bowl games have been very hit or miss this past decade, with things split pretty evenly between competitive games and utter blowouts. The NFC and AFC championships have been far more entertaining and even.
two #6 seeds?
The Packers secondary is definitely better than Pittsburgh's? Okay, I will tell you that Pittsburgh's corners blow ass, and Woodson and Williams are outstanding, but the BEST player in any secondary in football is on the field for Pittsburgh, and even at 50% (he's more than fifty percent), he, along with the best defensive coach currently in football will likely even things out. Those corners do scare me a bit though. So call it definitely if you will, but I think it's closer than you think. Now, I like Green Bay's linebackers, and know that Clay Matthews is everybody's poster child for the 2011 NFL...but James Harrison has been as good or better than Matthews for four years now (not to mention his three sacks yesterday). Harrison has more sacks and more tackles this year, and is just as disruptive...of course...to the league...he's a cheat...so give it to that long-haired freak-ass with the punk-bitch former Browns linebacker dad.... Anyways...the other three Steelers linebackers certainly could start in the pro bowl, and how Woodley got bumped is absolutely ridiculous. The Steelers backers are more than slightly ahead here. I don't know jack about the Packers line. I do know the Steelers D-Line is patchwork...but could be 100% for the first time since the first couple of games next week.
I think it's a good argument though...
Well, I do think that Aaron Rodgers is currently the best quarterback in football...but...it's not like he's heads and shoulders above Roethlisberger. As a matter of fact...you could make a case that Roeth's season is every bit as good as Rodgers. Roeth missed four games, threw for 17 TDs and only five picks. He ran in two...and rushed for a couple of TD's. His rating is 97. He threw for 3200 yards, and rushed for almost 200. In three more games, Rodgers threw for 3900 yards, 28TD's and 11 picks. He rushed for four TD's, and 350 yards. His rating is 101.
They both have an explosive receiver with 1200 and change (wallace vs. Jennings), and an old vet (Driver vs. Ward). I do like the other receivers for Green Bay in JJones and Jordy Nelson, but think that Heath Miller, and the combination of Randle El, Antonio Brown, Emmanuel Sanders and Heath Miller surely compete with that. Perhaps there is an edge in depth to Green Bay, but the quality is similar.
Green Bay's running game is non-existent, and before anyone jumps on the Kuhn/Starks/Jackson bandwagon, they haven't given up an 100 yard rusher all season, and only 100 yards to two defenses...and just barely over 1000 yards all year. As a matter of fact, in the past 51 games counting yesterday, they've only given up one 100 yard rusher.
Now, while I think that Rashard Mendenhall is a bit overrated, I do think he's better than anything the Packers have to offer.
Is there a clear leader in offense?
Nope.
When healthy...the defenses may look close on paper...but they aren't.
However...any given sunday...
Of course...why exactly did we start comparing the two?
I don't see Dirty Sanchez and his F-A-G-S, JETS JETS JETS getting out of Pitt alive, if they do I will eat my shoe. GB looks good and I think they can win in Chicago of course but as big of a douche bag Cutler is, if he gets on a roll, they could be SB bound. Should be some good games, some hard hitting action, and a Dirty Sanchez costing his team a chance at the Super Bowl.
James Harrison...100 tackles, 10.5 sacks, 6 forced fumbles, 2 picks
Clay Matthews...60 tackles, 13.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 1 pick
and I swear to christ, if someone says he has more of an impact than Harrison...I will come to your house and personally shit on your porch. Matthews is a fantastic player, but there's a lot of media kool aide for Matthews...
LaMarr Woodley...50 tackles, 10 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, 2 picks
Eric Walden...25 tackles, 3 sacks, 0 forced fumbles, 0 picks (i know he was hurt, but holy hell, these two aren't even on the same playing field)
Desmond Bishop...103 tackles, 3 sacks, 2 forced fumbles, 1 pick
James Farrior...109 tackles, 6 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 0 pick
AJ Hawk...111 tackles, 1/2 sack, 0 forced fumbles, 3 picks
Lawrence Timmons...135 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, 2 picks
And playing better? The Ravens had 126 yards of offense yesterday...
I'm not saying the Packers D is garbage...they are extremely good...but let's not go overboard here...
I actually like the Packers...
I'm having a hard time with the GB/Chi game, GB makes the most sense but when Chicago looks good they look real good, they just have a hard time staying at that level. I'm convinced Blitzburgh will show us the Sanchez we all know and laugh at, throwing picks, getting sacked and stripped and costing his team BIG in their biggest game in years.
You are right, I didn't and I am still convinced he will be the reason his team don't make it to the Super Bowl. He is just another over hyped QB that played at USC and ended up in NY where the hype machine never stops. Rapistberger isn't my most favorite player but he is big time in big games. Sanchez is a choke waiting to happen.
