I deleted one of the groups at Steve's request (edit: I did this a few months ago, surprised just now anyone noticed). I took a quick look at it, hadn't been used or updated forever so didn't think much of it or that anyone would miss it since it wasn't getting any use. I didn't realize all the passion here for Steve's demise.
Since FORD actually endorses this Savicki Wood Chipper group, and given our long history of fighting the good fight and my respect for FORD, please tell me what the big deal with Savicki is, bro? I mean is he that bad? Do we really need groups dedicated to him given he gets thrashed every time he shows up? I can understand a group for GAR, but Savicki? Is he really as bad as a Mosque at Ground Zero or pineapple on a pizza or Ed Hardy gear or Katydid?

I just don't really think the Army is the place for this guy. Have you seen his posts in house of music claiming he rocks out to fucking laura branigan and other assortments of shit casettes, and being a fan of an 80's cartoon that was targetted towards 9 year old girls? just reeks of creepy. Dude seems to be a high-functioning autistic.
As far as being a poster, his posts in House of Music are pretty lame, and involve really lame pop bands that no one has ever heard of nor care of. I mean, I could make the argument that say a post relating to "Human League" maybe interesting, not my cup of tea, but interesting, but it's usually about how Laura Branigan has a new coffee mug out. Not to mention, they're shit posts, usually just again a verbatim copy off a website, and followed by absolutely nothing in regards to his opinion. The same being said of his posts in Non/The Front line and AIC locker room, which usually just seems to come off his yahoo homepage.
Following this, he'll proceed to bitch about how he was mistreated in front line or about how he despises the sheep pen or run off to hitchworld to trash the army because it's not to his liking.
Really he's a pretty useless poster, I believe the Army would be much better off if him and GAR were sent packing, but alas, I am not the one with the button, that would be you, poj. va, brownie, pmark and va beach. As for the groups, I thought those things were an after-thought that no one paid attention to... have you seen the topics? lol Now that I know you guys like those groups and shit, I'll leave them be. My bad.
Much of this regarding Savicki I did not know. Thanks for the education. The challenge is that this site has been so pro-freedom anti-censorship that it's tough to get rid of anyone around here as we lean toward being too tolerant perhaps. I mean we have a pretty good case to get rid of about 1/4 of the posters for being jackasses and posting lame shit, but maybe more trouble than it's worth.
As for the groups, I'd just prefer that when we do an internet search for the Roth Army, that Savicki's name (and assorted variations on his demise) isn't on the first page of the search results. Any chance you can change the group name to Anti-Savicki or something that doesn't make us look like wood chipping maniacs on a Google search?
