And here I was thinking the Broncos looked bad. Not being a particularly huge fan of football myself I do enjoy the occasional game or two but even that has come to pass. Owners have become way too power hungry and greedy and even NFL Inc. exploits the fans without shame. Games gets stale due too given much air time to commercial breaks in order to generate more and more ad revenue. Want to buy a jersey? Cost ya over $100 minimum. Better yet, want to actually go to a game? Even the parking fees alone will put you in the poor house. Any entertainment value seems to have dissipated with the players egos killing off most of it and see if one them gives a shit about fan loyalty. Personally (and hopefully), I hope the NFL fucks itself right out of existence by 2014 with morons like Jones leading the charge.
Well, if things don't change course soon, all of the billionaires and millionaires are gonna find themselves in a big nasty strike.....

And that's also due in part to all this wealth elitism among selected NFL owners. Jones builds a multi-complex stadium at a cost of @1.5 billion and taxes the shit out of the fan base (who, by the way, voted for that horrendous looking monstrosity) and yet most can't afford to go inside to see a game. Even season tickets holders has shifted from the common man to the corporate shareholder booking box seats for events that must cost in the thousands. As for the players themselves wanting more and more money, insurance, union rights, lifetime pensions..fuck them! They're expendable for all I care. Most make more in one game than a working stiff does in three lifetimes. It's this kind of greed that has destroyed football slowly drained any joy from the event.
So Jones feels embarrassed does he? Good for him. Thing is he doesn't give two shits for the fans while sitting in his hot tub in the shape of Texas until they stop showing up for games which I believe you're going to see a lot later of in this season and next if certain dismal teams quit being so power hungry. It's time to return this common game back to the common man.
I'm happy the Cowboys will not go to the Super Bowl in their own stadium this year. Now they can cry and limp through the remainder of the season about what could have been.
One thing that I hate, among many issues with professional sports, is the raising of taxes to pay for a billion dollar stadium. What a waste of tax payer's money.

People may hate the Cowboys and that's fine but a couple things have to be said here. First off, the 1.3 Billion dollar stadium called COWBOYS stadium was funded mostly by Jerry Jones himself. The tax payers in Arlington and the surrounding areas didn't pay a dime. No naming rights have been sold either, hence the name Cowboys Stadium. Fans can enter Cowboys Stadium for $29. It's called a party pass and allows you to watch the game standing or on the end zone screens. The stadium,is by far, the coolest stadium you could ever see. It doesn't matter who your favorite team is, the stadium is simply kick ass.
