Hi Marx1000 Welcome to The Diamond David Lee Roth Army! The ROTH ARMY carries the Van Halen Torch, Diamond David Lee Roth Style! This is where Classic Van Halen is celebrated and Diamond Dave reigns as the Supreme Toastmaster of the Immoral Majority. Welcome aboard and enjoy your stay!
"I decided to name my new band DLR because when you say David Lee Roth people think of an individual, but when you say DLR you think of a band. Its just like when you say Edward Van Halen, people think of an individual, but when you say Van Halen, you think of…David Lee Roth, baby!"!
Beaver Productions! Dam that's appropriate. Lol Welcome!
Can't Control your Future. Can't Control your Friends. The women start to hike their skirts up. I didn't have a clue. That is when I kinda learned how to smile a lot. One Two Three Fouir fun ter thehr fuur.
$13.50....damn....
and tapedecks
1984 seems like a long time ago...lol
Yes, my son had to ask "What is a tapedeck daddy?" Sure does make you feel old. However, If we could get some new Van Halen music with DLR in the next century, I might feel young again.
Here's a comparison from the last show I attended ($154.50+$11.15 Convenience Charge).
At least they allow Fireworks now.

If the ticket had gone up by US inflation rates then what cost $13.50 in 1984 should have cost $27.63 in 2008

Doesn't sound very convenient to me.
Funny how the ticket says no audio/video, yet Dave was hamming it up for everyones camera. Lots of stuff on Youtube from up close. People weren't even trying to hide the fact they were recording. I guess they just didn't want someone coming in with a professional camera & tripod. lol
“Great losses often bring only a numb shock. To truly plunge a victim into misery, you must overwhelm him with many small sufferings.”
Convenience charge? To whom? Them?
I was there in 1984 myself, welcome.
Very cool CROWBAR. Image is a little small, what venue was it? Must be a big city for 2 shows.
This is prompting me to look at all of my old stubs. The messed up thing is that some of them are fading. Probably a good time to get them all scanned in.
Here is something interesting... 2 shows from the same year, kept in the same folder, and one is fading badly, the other one is in "Daimond" shape and cheaper. Go Figure!
Trolls take heed...LOG OUT & FUCK OFF!!!
I just realized that you saw them right before I did.

No Kidding... What are the chances? I keep watching this video because it is exactly what I remember.
Check it out, It will bring back memories. Listen how the crowd goes NUTS when DLR jumps onto the stage.
What a freaking opening! I could watch this over and over.
