tennis possibly becoming as big as football?

It is a move the tennis world hopes will have as much impact on the court as a bullet-like passing shot from Roger Federer or a fierce smash from Serena Williams.

It will be interesting seeing one-on-one as opposed to an entire team trying to make the airwaves like basketball.

Me, I remember taking lessons years ago. Scoring is finite when you get to "love" or whatever the term is but I personally find it challenging and as unpredictable as volleyball.

If by football you mean soccer then sure, in the US maybe.

To me, tennis is similar to soccer. Fun to play, not so fun to watch on television. Very few really great matches have been fun enough for me to actually pay attention to. It's a little better live. But I doubt it will ever gain much more than it already has on television. Unless somehow it gets a Tiger Woods that changes up the whole game. Look what he did for golf.
