And a producer has nothing to do with music style. Just because a producer produced Miley Cyrus (or even worse, Bon Jovi), doesn't mean VH music will sound like it.
A good producer helps a real band see it's vision. And nobody will tell DLR how to see his vision, for better or for worse.
