Seems like a reasonable list, for once. Except for the Donald FAGen record. Can't fucking stand Steely Dan in any form.

Kinda odd that Imagine is referred to as Lennon's first solo album. By that time, he'd released 5 albums outside of the Beatles (even if you consider Yoko's "contributions" to them), but still Plastic Ono Band was his first full-fledged solo record.

It is about time EAS gets the respect and recognition it deserves. Nice to see DLR included in the company on this list.

SD's kind of an acquired taste...wasn't into them at all as a kid, didn't see what the big deal was - but they've grown on me over the years...and there's some great guitar work on their albums by people like Larry Carlton, Jay Graydon, Skunk Baxter, etc...
Def. an acquired taste. Some dangerous guitar action in their music. Check out some tabs, some of the arangments and chordal work is insane.
As a player, the thing I've taken most from them, is their approach in writing bridge's and turn arounds in their songs and of course the art of modulation...
"FUCK YOU, YOU FUCKIN' BITCH! WHO THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE ANYWAYS? TALK TO ME LIKE THAT? FUCK YOU. DRAG QUEEN LOOKIN' WHORE- YOU AINT SHIT. YOUR THE FRECKLE TO THE LEFT OF MY BROWN EYE. NOW GO MAKE YOURSELF USEFUL...OH, PUT DAD ON THE PHONE"
One of the few resons i'm glad Dave left VH. Great album that we would have never heard without him walking.
