Don't hate. Went every year for ages, but hadn't for the last 4; Adam @ FU is awesome for hooking me up this year. So I shared the visuals.
It was indeed, glad you enjoyed the pics. It was cool to be there as a "private sector" musician-dude...wasn't chained to an exhibit on the clock for probably only the 2nd or 3rd time ever... and (fortunately) wasn't feeling the need to resume-shop either. So it was cool to just cruise around and take everything in, and in most cases spend as much time as I needed to check out the list of things I was seriously interested in...My friends in the late 80's - early 90's used to have a booth at NAMM. 3 brothers that had their own home-made guitar product. (something about oil for guitar necks I think). They would always take a couple friends. And those friends would roam around & meet famous dudes. Best story was my friend took a shit in the stall next to Jerry Garcia.
Not sure how long you have been going, but their last names were Haisha. Joe, Ed & Dan Haisha. Dang, I wish I could remember the name of their product. I jammed at their house a few times when we were all in high school. I think they stopped selling the product by the late 90's.
And most famous rock star I've ever met was Dave Mustaine once, and I had a beer with Mick Brown of Dokken once before a show. Like I said, I'm jealous of you right now. Would have loved to meet the Quiet Riot guys.
Thanks for all the updates & awesome pics though. Looks like a fucking great time.
I wish you remembered the name of that product, because the family name isn't immediately ringing a bell, sorry.
So Jay,When is The New Album Out?

Another one of those classic genius posts, sure to generate responses. You log on the next day to see what your witty gem has produced to find no one gets it and 2 knotheads want to stick their dicks in it... Well played, sir!!

Cool. It's always interesting watching what surfaces as time goes on. Hopefully some more adventures of Ed. Be nice if someone cornered him and asked him the important questions!.
Wish I'd gotten a clearer shot of these two Jacksons...
Oh shit. I'm waiting for the VH striped condoms next and the EVH casket.
The caskets are in the can, 10 of them.
Ed needs to come out with his own line of cigarettes now.
More pics hosed from my buddy Dave's photo album: Steve Brown of Trixter in the Krank Exhibit...the amps sound pretty killer...

The way the lighting was set up in their exhibit it was nearly impossible to get stellar shots...his turned out better than mine, at least...
