here is a pic of me and my gear just before my show on tuesday, january 11, 2011 @
"back to the grind" in downtown riverside, california.
i opened my set with a brand new song called "metalize the universe".
the new song got roaring approval.


there was some video taken, but not by me. therefore, i am at the mercy of the filmers if they choose to post it or grant me copies. in the meantime, this will have to do.
a friend of mine took this with her cell phone, so that is why the pic is a bit grainy. the lighting in that cellar was pretty bad too.

i didn't know i was auditioning anyone.
he must have gotten lost in the desert or the wilderness somewhere and got eaten by a bear or something......i bet the buzzards enjoyed eating his eyeballs!

actually guys, the bicycle club meeting was the week after the picture was taken and "metalize the universe" was played.
this week the open mic was held on the main floor while the bicycle club met in the very cellar where that pic of me and my gear was taken.
although, all those folks had to go through the main room to reach the stairs to go down into the cellar.
i spoke to some of the bicycle club folks after wards.
i spoke to some of them before hand while i was doing soundcheck.
most of them liked what i was doing.
the only ones that didn't like it were the few senior citizens in the bunch.

as for this coming tuesday, i'll be at house of blues anaheim attending the motorhead concert.
