I'm not a musician...why the fuck would I be invited? You're no different than anyone else attending a conference that pertains to their chosen profession. Yours just happens to be of interest to those outside of the profession.

You're doing what few get the opportunity to...follow their dream. You think because of that you are somehow better than others. Well, you're not.

I work full-time, go to school full time, and work with adults with complex physical disabilities...addressing barriers to their inclusion in everyday society...and I manage to do all that without resorting to belittling others, especially those less fortunate than I.

The point was no one else talking smack here has put in the work. Yeah, I'm getting to follow my dream - because I'm (still) busting my ass for it (in addition to also having a full-time gig, so you get no sympathy there) - so no, really don't see anyone that's talking shit matching the work ethic (or output, for that matter) sorry. Inescapbable fact you can get as bent about as you want...won't change it.

My intention was not to bash JHale's playing. I don't like the production. I know JHale hates the drum machines, and so do I. To me, that recording doesn't sound anything like a band, and I know it's not.

I can't play the guitar as good as the worst guitar player (Elvis ) on this site. I'm still on the first page of Roy Clark's Learn How To Play Guitar book, that I started 40 years ago!

You kinda killed a lot of the fun around here, not sure you've noticed. Perhaps you should have elaborated. Your original post sounded like your usual baseless carping, or just you being a douche towards me for no reason (also as usual). Btw, there's no "production", no mastering - those are the rough tracks. So perhaps you can tell us how anything I played all the instruments and programmed the drums for - would sound like a BAND, pray tell? Am I supposed to get drunk before I record one of the parts so it sounds like someone else or something?

Stop for a second and realize you've yet to comment on any of the "work" posted here, so the only reason you're here is to talk shit. That's what you feel "inclined" to do, nothing to do with the thread, as I originally pointed out...congrats!
