Got the bass. It's a bolt on. Cleaned thoroughly, replaced the battery and an intonation screw, restrung w/ D'Addario 170-5.

It's fucking PHENOMENALLY GOOD!!!!

My 2¢ - bring the drums forward. The guitar is so in-your-face that the drums, in particular the snare, get buried.. I feel like I want to hear more snap from the snare.. the cymbals need to come up as well.. everything is behind a wall of guitars.. Not knockin you in any way.. just giving some input.

A win win situation for all involved. There was no name calling and shit talking for the first 3 years. Why is there now? Some things about this place I'll never get. Isn't making and listening to music supposed to be fun?

Ok, here's my take. I've put some of my stuff in this excellent thread. I frankly couldn't care less if anyone listened to it, or even liked it. Because as Bridge said, making and listening to music is supposed to be fun! And to me it is. I love listening to what all of you create, it's like a little vignette into a secret world or something.

As a lifelong fan of music, and a professional, (two of my incomes involve performing and teaching music) I feel qualified to comment and critique.

J, if I was your producer, I'd ask you 'why spend all this time and $ chasing ultimate tone if you're just gonna barrage me with a blur of digital 64th notes? Like on that Vai album. We know you can play! Show me a toneful tuneful melody!'
