And I agree that Wolf's bass isn't plugged in. Saw a show in Denver where the bass continued on as Wolf raised his hands above his head and clapped to the beat during the chorus.
Someone was thumpin' E and it wasn't Wolf.
He seems to have inherited his musical talent from his mother.

At this point, I agree.....does it really matter if he's playing or not.
If you believe that he isn't than why waste good money on watching a piped-in band....listen to the boots and save a ton of money.
As much as I hate it.......Wolf's in bassplayer's out. The thing you have to come to terms with are you willing to pay for the illusion or not. I choose the later.

I thought Jerry Scheff played bass on Doors records.
There was a boatload of guys that assumed the bass for them (in addition to Scheff), including Larry Knechtel, Doug Lubahn, Harvey Brooks and Lonnie Mack.

I know a woman who was working for Dave on the reunion tour(she was massaging him before the show and passing him sunglasses during the intro of Mean Street).
I asked her if Wolfie was actually playing bass. and she answered "Yes"....

I really think wolf is playing. Obviously the kid has talent. I just will not accept that both Ed AND Dave would be cool with faking it. Forget whatever bullshit has happened, these guys are the real motherfucking deal. Dave wouldn't put us on.. Trickery isn't his style.
Here's what convinced me.. I got to catch the entire soundcheck for the first show in 07. They played through about a third of the set. IMO, there's no way it wasn't the 3 of them playing. It wasn't going through the PA...

she told me that she hasn't seen anyone else playing bass behind the stage...even at rehearsal.
instead she has seen Tiger Woods hanging around the dressing room twice.
What about the prerecorded effects? The keyboard parts for "I'll Wait" and "Jump" had to come from somewhere, so why couldn't some bass tracks come from the same place?
But why? Have you ever played the bassparts of Anthony? It's not that hard.....

Of course I have. The difference being of course that I had to have at least one hand on the bass at all times in order to produce any sort of sound.
