    Montreal 84 DVD

Forget who wanted this, but it was some time ago and I just remembered about it. Anywho, I know how much you guys hate RapidGayr so I found a place that hosts the MegaUpload links for the DVD. I haven't tested out any of the links besides checking to see if they are valid, but here you go. Enjoy. Credits go to the original uploader. It's in RAR files, split into partitions.

Reading Crazy From the Heat in four hours flat, in a cramped RV, on the return trip of a 3,000+ mile family outing to New Jersey is an enlightening experience you'll never forget.

Good luck with having this actually work... splitting up files is always a pleasure.

Actually, if you use WinRar it patched the files together instantly. It's part of the programming; always does that by default if there are any other .part(insert number) files. Fret not.

Besides, I was just helping some fellow fans out. Sorry.

Not tryin to give you a hard time... just sayin I've never really enjoyed split up files. In my experience you get like 95% of the way there and there's a fuck up.

So, is this actually a DVD? Is it the VIDEO_TS folder? There's an upgraded version of this show available.. good show, too bad there aren't more complete 84 shows out there...

As far as I can see, this is a VIDEO_TS folder...

If you have problems with one of the files, just check the error message to see which one, and re-download it again.

Has happened to me before. I don't mind it when it is something rare I want.

                No worries.

It has been awhile since I checked out a boot. Between Hurricane Halen (Lagos, MD 1983) and Floor 'em At The Forum (Montreal 1982), it has to be the Montreal show. Just because it is the earlier of the two. The guy who filmed the Montreal shows filmed a LOT of shows. I have a couple of Judas Priest boots from there, as well as the two VH shows from there. All filmed from the same location. Guy did not have a great zoom on the cam he was using, but the sound was usually pretty good. The Judas Priest Defenders Of The Faith boot DVD has a similar picture, not very sharp when zooming in, but the mix was awesome, and Halford was on fire!

Man....seeing the band come out and kick everone's ass with Romeo Delight.

Fucking awesome. Great memories from the 4 times I saw them!

And you know what? Good as the kid may be, he is nowhere near the level of aggressive intensity that bassplayer brought to the table.

Michael Anthony is seriously underrated I feel. Listen to some of the shit he has to play during some of the ultra-fast shuffles like The Full Bug. MA is having to play some ass-kicking serious fucking bass in order to cover his area in each song. Seldom has a band with drums/bass/guitar been able to create such a huge sound from just three instruments. Well, and the help of a big PA, lol.

But man, Michael Anthony tore it up! He took no fucking prisoners! He is sorely missed!

It is not the same with a young kid just kinda standing around, running a bit here and there.

He should be studying Michael Anthony the PERFORMER as well as Michael Anthony the BASSPLAYER.
