ah, karma!! welcome to the show...

O.J. Simpson has largely been out of the news since being sentenced to at least nine years in prison for his role in an armed confrontation with sports memorabilia dealers in Las Vegas in September 2007. But the former USC and Buffalo Bills great is back in the media spotlight after The National Enquirer reported today that he was brutally beaten by skinheads in his prison cell.

The publication, which also broke the Tiger Woods scandal, reports that Simpson was "beaten unconscious in a brutal prison yard attack" and is in a fragile mental state of mind, so much so that he doesn't want to leave his cell.

Inmates cheered as a fellow prisoner beat him to the ground while punching and kicking him into a bloody mess. Simpson reportedly suffered injuries so severe that he spent nearly three weeks in the infirmary before he recovered. The 63-year-old reportedly bragged about "his sexual conquests of beautiful white women" and that didn't sit well with a group of "white supremacists."

"Unfortunately for O.J., a group of young skinhead punks were within earshot—and they were enraged," said Bruce Fromong, a former business partner of the disgraced football star.

TMZ has managed to locate some footage not only of the attack, but of Simpson's recovery in the infirmary and the investigation into the incident.
