I did find myself checking out the hockey games on NBC. The thing is, I really can't stand to watch it on tv, as it is so much better seeing it in person. And the down side to that is my local team is the crummy Panthers.

Alright...in first place ten years ago was Waltrip driving the 15, and in second was Jr....driving the 8...and Rusty Wallace finished third, driving the 2

This year, Bayne finished in first driving the 21, and Edwards finished in second, driving the 99...and David Gilliland finished third, driving the #38...

    15+8+2=25

    99-21-38=40

    40-25=15

    and 15+3+3=21!!!

    Wow...it's like magic!

Waltrip won the 500 driving the #15, followed by Earnhardt Junior in the #8. Add the two, subtract 3 (for Senior's car), and look what you get:

    15 + 8 = 23. 23 - 3 = 20. Bayne won the 500 today at the age of 20.

Also, Steve Park drove the third car for DEI, the number 1.

15 + 8 + 1 + 24. Not only is 24 the number of one of Earnhardt's rivals (Jeff Gordon), but if you subtract Earnhardt's #3 from 24, you get 21, the number of Bayne's Wood Brothers' machine...

Huh? That was the year we rode John "Beezer" Vanbiesbrouck all the way to the championship, and got swept by the Avalanche.

That shit is funny !! I don't care what anyone says !! Good for the Wood brothers. I admire them for not giving up. When Larry ,Daryl and Daryl interviewed him in car before the race I thought great kid, Fat chance !!

Thank you so much for pointing that out. Every single time Chris Myers would throw it to the "guys in the booth", saying Larry, Daryl and Mike, I'd think of the Newhart show. Of course, I'd then get sidetracked thinking about Mary Fran's sweaters...

And hell yes for the Wood brothers. The last time that car did so well in a Daytona race, I believe that Morgan Shepard was driving it.
