I've never used a Steinberger, how do one of those feel? They don't lock, right? Are they a nightmare?

Well with double ball end strings it takes 5 minutes to change them. The bars are fine but you can't do crazy shit like bird chirps like the Floyds, but the playability is incredible.

real steinbergers play great, but there are many knockoffs all with different feels and results. It's really a personal taste thing.
