At least one of my uncles graduated from there, I think. But they are always my "backup" team in March, in case the Dawgs don't go the distance (which unfortunately they did not today)

I didn't even realize San Diego State was in this until today when I was talking to my dad on the phone, bummed about the DAWGS and asking him what the hell channel the Arizona game was on. Guess I saw SDSU in the brackets and it just didn't register.
So congrats, but that further fucks my bracket, cause I had them losing to Temple. Hope they win their next game though, because I hate UCONN (mostly because they aren't original enough to find a name for their team that wasn't already taken)
Of course then that means they will lose to the AZ Wildcats
