Holy Hell, did any of you guys get to catch any of the opening round of the President's Cup today? Because of a rain delay, coverage just finished up here in the southeastern U.S. shortly after 7 PM, and man, what a thrilling match. For those that have not seen the broadcast yet, I won't give out any spoilers, yet dudes, this was some of the finest golf I've ever seen (and being as old as Methuselah, that means something coming from me).

Diggin' the heck out of the Phoenix Open. Seriously folks, it's like a tail gate party that was dragged onto a golf course in the desert. And the actual playing is terrific to see as well. Bubba Watson leads, with some (as usual) highly inspired shot making.

Not so much, as it really seems sad to watch the guy wince in pain for two days and either withdraw or miss the cut. Unfortunately, I guess I'm pretty much alone on this, seeing how the Golf Channelhas been broadcasting live, up to the minute and over-blown coverage since the story broke, effectively cancelling all other programming.

And ESPN is just as bad.
