Day for birdie on 17...
Day for birdie on 17...
'Cause three holes are better than a hole-in-one!!!
freddy and jason..
Man, I put a jinx on Rory..he did well til today
Still don't get the "exception" rule that allows Woods to continue to play, yet as coverage ended here in the states we have 3 Aussies in the top five. Nicely performed fellows and well, well played.
“The greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge.”― Stephen Hawking
I think the exception has something to do with his last name being Woods.
9 out of 10 TV ratings agree.
My karma just ran over your dogma.
Pretty much the way my co-workers, everyone at the pub and I saw things. The headline "Tiger bounced out of Masters" doesn't quite hold the cache for CBS Television as "Woods still in contention for Sunday's broadcast," ya know?
The back-pedaling by Fred Ridley in various interviews was embarrassing to watch. And his fellow players seem to agree: LINK
Bottom line: He should have withdrawn from play.

yeah, baby!!!
congratulations on breaking the drought, adam. well done angel as well.
What a finish! Hats off to Adam, yet an equal tip of the hat to Angel for displaying the class of embracing the fellow not once, yet twice.
agree craig, angel is all class. what a great day in oz!!! people are calling for masters monday to be a public holiday 'ADAM SCOTT DAY'
the whole country is rejoicing; even the non golf nuts
Congrats! Hats off and mugs up to the Aussies! And Van Halen is going to help you celebrate!
That was awesome.
Brandel Chamblee needs to think before he opens
his mouth. Saturday morning on Golf Channel it
sounded like he was questioning the way the Members
run their Tournament and how TW's issues on 15 Friday
were addressed. I wouldn't be surprised if Golf Channel is politely
asked to tell him to watch next years Masters with Gary McCord.
next year, adam puts the green jacket on jason.
how well did that young chinese fella hold himself? there's a future world beater. very impressive.
For a fourteen year old kid his demeanor in Butler Cabin talking to
Jim Nantz impressed me. Sounded mature beyond his years.
Nicely put, friend. While McCord can be annoying as all hell with his forced attempts at humor, when he shoots from the hip there is a degree of honesty and experience coming from him. Chamblee on the other hand (much like 2-3 other "analysts" at GC) tends toward drawing attention to himself by making controversial commentary.
The upshot to Saturday's "performance" being that at one point, cooler heads must have prevailed during the afternoon and told the dipshit to put a sock in his mouth, as the post game show presented him entirely dodging all questions about his earlier remarks, being completely submissive and almost (yet not quite) apologetic.
Oh well, onto the U.S Open and the predictable boorish nonsense coming out of the not-so entertaining Chris Berman.
Another one of those classic genius posts, sure to generate responses. You log on the next day to see what your witty gem has produced to find no one gets it and 2 knotheads want to stick their dicks in it... Well played, sir!!
Wow..just saw a commercial for the Greenbriar classic in W.VA....Aerosmith is scheduled...I would be excited about this but being an older crowd I just figure it will be top 40 song after top 40 song..I wouldnt think this would a gig a band like Aerosmith would take....also scheduled..Kenny Chesney.
Ummm...Major weekend...
Chris Berman and Andy North in rare form.
Thankfully, the coverage has gone back to NBC and the more than capable hands of Johnny Miller. By the way, if you guys have not tuned in, you've missed one of the most brutal courses ever. Of course, being a USGA set up, it's designed for drama, yet shit, some of the pin placements have been startling and absurd, not to mention out of bounds markings less than 2 feet from the fairway in some stretches.
And get this, one guy is in at 1 under, and it's fucking PHIL!
It's really too bad that the weather in Scotland has reduced the greatest players in the world to mere mortals. They're talking to themselves, making gestures to themselves, and not paying attention to lower short iron trajectory. Of course, I mean taking something off the low iron play. All hail the dry Muirfield.
pisses me right off.... no frickin pay tv no frickin watch
I dunno...you'd watch a drive tee off from the box on Thursday, and as the ball hit the fairway, a huge amount of sand would blow up around the ball's impact. Ok, that's different, yet why these guys are misreading shots and particularly green play has lead this a most interesting open.
It's indeed a shame that ESPN fails to put up a leader-board once but every two hours, yet just be glad they don't have Chris Berman there. Here's hope that Miguel Angel Jimenez get's his game back. And don't dismiss Mickelson just yet. Tiger? TWell who cares?
Westwood and Mahan in the final group.
Wonder who's gonna fold and throw up a big number.
Both have been known to. One eye on the scoreboard
to see what whatshisname is doing in the group behind
them. Thinking -3 will win this thing but I've been wrong
more than right in this thread.
adam scott?
that'd be awesome!
please pardon my ignorance too;
good to see ya, rustoffa mate!
we shall all post mortem this thing tomorrow.. (or today, depending on variables) hehe..
Scott is awesome...Tiger seems to play like shit when he is paired with him..is the Caddy thing still bugging him..or is Scott just better.
Getting interesting..Phil takes the lead
......
Buwwhhaaahhaaa..you know you're getting old when you are pulling for the golfers..That was great..nailed it with his club..classic.
Dude is fast..lmao
12 pack of Stella, table full of snacks, a Norco, ready to watch Furyk gag
