The Cardinals are sprouting new heroes on a daily basis . Yesterday it was outfielder Jon Jay with a 3 run bomb . Cards have 5 wins in a row and are atop the National League . Have taken 3 straight from Milwaukee and looking for #4 today . Then , it's on to the arch rival Cubs for 2 quick ones . Should be a blast considering the 100 plus years of shenanigans between our two teams and especially the fans .
Sux that monster closer Jason Motte is having Tommy John surgery and will be out for the better part of a year . Mujica has come in and cleaned up as the latest closer . Thank goodness ! Go Cards !
