Are Joba Chamberlain and Wolfie are the same guy?

Not quite a "switched at birth" deal but close nonetheless...

I was in Dublin this past week and was wearing a Brewers shirt while walking up some stairs. An Irish guy says to me, "sorry about Prince." Thought that was pretty funny.

He was a larger than life character for sure. He is one of the main reasons I supported the Expos.

Also a big part of the Mets.

The Expo's used to be on tv in Toronto before we got the Jays, and I used to

watch the games in my room while my parents thought I was sleeping. I was

always a Gary Carter fan. RIP.

Everyone outside of Toronto LOVED the Expos. We tolerated the J's and their success once they were gone.

    Vindication.

I don't believe for a second that he did anything to tarnish his reputation or his $100 million contract. He's too smart.

So uh, how about that additional wild card team being added...

I think enough is enough. Actually, scratch that, less is more. Fuck the 3 divisions, go back to two and get on with the WS... If teams can't win 95-105 games they deserve to start the winter early.

Also, make the NL & AL championships a 5-game series once again. Especially since it gets fuckin' cold around late October. Then start the world series earlier if both teams finish early.

Wow,really going out on a limb. Being from Chicago I really don't have much hope for either Chicago Team this year. It will be a race to see which team gets to 100 hundred losses first.

Andy Pettitte signed a 1 year minor league contract with the NYY today. Said to be worth 2.25-5 mil.

He mulled retirement for years, claiming he wanted to spend more time with his family. Well he must be sick of his family 'cause he sure as hell doesn't need the money. It'll be interesting to see how and when they'll use him. Perhaps middle relief. I hope they don't go with a 6 man rotation.

Slot Andy in as the 3rd or 4th starter.....send Phil Hughes' underachieving ass to the pen.....groom him to be the next closer cuz this is Mo's last year. Or keep him in the rotation and send Garcia to the pen for middle relief.

David Roberston will be the next closer. Don't know what the future for Phil Hughes holds. Maybe they can trade him for something of value before his own value declines. I understand they have really good young pitching down on the farm.

I completely forgot about Robertson. I like Robertson alot.....but he kind of has John Wetteland syndrome.....yes he pitches out of some crazy jams, but he gets himself into those jams. He'll come in, grab two quick outs, and start nitpicking and walking guys. As I'm typing this I'm thinking.....what the hell are we gonna do when Mo goes???? Us Yankee fans have been spoiled by the Sandman.

True, we have. I like Robertson taking that slot more so than Rafael Soriano. Is he even still there?

this week, the Indians donated a million dollars to the Boys and Girls Clubs.

i would rather see the Dolans donate the team to an owner who is willing to spend the money to field a decent team.

How about Drew Carey? He owns a Major League Soccer team that has won quite a few trophies. I think its the Seattle Sounders.

Man. I fully enjoyed the Drew Carey Show and Who's Line Is It Anyways. Was initially excited when he went to The Price Is Right, but now realize I never see him any more. Lame. I'm sure he is making a huge paycheck though.

I just can't get myself to get in to soccer. It's like watching girls eat pussy. Lame. It's fun to actually do it yourself...not so great just watching someone else do it.

wow, Bukkake Kuroda pitched his ass off yesterday. I completely enjoy watching a pitcher take the ball and throw.....no dicking around for 20 seconds in between every pitch. Nova should still be the number 2 starter though.
