is there any mandolin player here?

I got one the other day but I can't play any song yet.



I even don't know what I should learn first.

My sister has one at her house that I have picked up a few times just to fuck around with. And I have a painting in my house that my great aunt did of a lady with a mandolin. That's about the extent of my knowledge. They are quite cool if you can actually play the damn thing.

My sister has been playing Mandolin for 30 years. She does not play too much any more, but is pretty good.

The Led Zep tabs are exactly what I would have suggested, lol.

Also, check into some Heart music. Nancy Wilson played mandolin on some stuff from the 70s. Mistral Wind, perhaps?

I don't have a mandolin but i traded my Washburn bass for a fado guitar in Lisbon Portugal 4 months ago.

I got a thumb piano today. I have had a few. They always seem to walk off.
I am going to have to take my tin snips to it. The body is good, but the keys are attached and that makes it difficult to tune.
It feels great playing. I love how it fills a quite spot full of sound. And the way it feels in your hand when you play it. This one is bigger and better designed than my last one.
Well except for the keys being attached. Snip, x7
