    Drop Dead Legs tab??

Hey guys my guitarist is looking for accurate tab for drop dead legs. He keeps finding mistakes in every copy he has found. Anybody have it?

Thanks in advance. I fucking love the song and want it to rock like a mother so I want it to be perfect. If you have the bass tab as well that would be great.

And yes I know I'm a total dick for never posting. My work seems to have unblocked this site so I'll try to get back on here on a regular basis.

Maybe one of the "real" guitarists around here know a better place to get accurate tabs but IMO it's an oxymoron........

    Try this link http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/tabs/...d_legs_tab.htm

I personally only use tab as a guide or a cheat sheet to get the basic cords/key/tuning of a song and from there go old school and listen to the actual song. I remember buying an "official" tab book by [fuck, I can't even remember by who] spending hours learning the tab only to find out the reason the song didn't sound right because it was in the wrong key and wasn't in standard 440 tuning

I'm sure there are great tab books out there but the best tab book you can have is your own ears, IMO! If you're even attempting DDL you must be able to play so get the album out........slow the music down [if need be] and figure it out.

    Sorry I couldn't help!

I recommend getting the 1984 tab book and lots of practice.

You would think "if he keeps finding mistakes" he should be able to figure it out by now.

Otherwise, the best source would be the 1984 tablature book. I bought the book but rarely use it. I could "almost" swear it was in A440 tuning, just with drop D tuning on the 6th string.

I use this site. Has some great stuff & large catalog.

Comprehensive tabs archive with about 200,000 tabs! Tabs search engine.

Thanks guys. there were just a few spots he was sketchy on. He found a video of some guy on youtube going through the song piece by piece. Probably the same videos that Seshy posted.

Thanks again. I'll post a recording eventually. Been a while since I was in a band that looks like it's getting off the ground. There is always some bastard that quits before it goes anywhere. But this one looks like it's gonna launch. Will be a month or so before we play out, gotta get all the sets ready. We plan to play take your whiskey home too as well as beautiful girls. I'm gonna put in all the daveisms. lots of fun. WOW!

I'm not a geetarist but this is one of my favorite VH songs... From the ignorant disecting I've done of the song... I'd recomend listening to the smart advice from here and before you plug in... Drink four Schlitz Malt Liquor beers to warm up... and have a few shots of clear liquor and THEN give it a shot... cause that is the most lacksed, drunkin, fun geetar riff I've ever heard.

I'm sure Ed has at least a 6 pack before he plays anything.
