Dave's House is an Historical Building

...and not just because of how many women he has bagged there & music he wrote in his basement studio. The structure is actually in the registrar for historical buildings in Pasadena, CA.

The site here has some cool old black & white pics from the early 70's. My favorite is all the old cars. Anyways, just one more cool thing about Dave I found that I wanted to share. As if there weren't enough cool things about this guy already.

In the early 1900's many barons of industry had homes in Pasadena. I believe the home Dave owns was built by the Wrigley family from Chicago. The chewing gum barons if you will.

I've seen an old pic somewhere with the whole Van Halen band standing on the steps leading from the house to the backyard. Weird to think of them all at Daves house.

Dr Nathan Roth was on Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous and he gave Robin Leach a tour of the estate. Roth said he bought it as a fixer upper and the lot was overgrown and the house needed work.

It looks like the house is about 100x90 feet looking at it from Google. Assuming it has a full basement it's 27,000 square feet total. My parents house was 10,000 square feet. That was big enough to where we had an intercom system to page people if they had a phone call or someone came to the door.
