A Strat once owned and burned at some point by Jimi Hendrix who gave it to Frank Zappa at the Miami Pop Festival.

Nice to see Dweezil out and about playing. I know he's been touring hard for the last few years playing Frank's music. I'd like to see a new album from him.
I remember reading about that guitar. Frank had it under the stairs and Dweezil restored it. How cool is that!

I would hang onto that guitar. You can always make money but you can't find another guitar like that.
True dat! Though if it were in my hands, I would restore it as he did originally, with the flipped headstock, but one that closely resembled a 1968 neck, with original electronics and pickguard.
But whatever. I will never be rich enough to own a Hendrix guitar, so it is academic.
