The young people of today not only can't say anything in an entire paragraph, they don't know what one is. Sadly they can't even form a sentence. I don't think grammar is in their vocabulary. Hey I know mine isn't perfect but I know what it is and I can spell it and put it in a sentence ok. Alot of the parents of the 80's were too drunk and strung out on drugs to pay attention to juniors grades and Dave knew it then. Ya who knew. Dave's a prophet? No Dave is observant and smart and got around alot. He went places and he reads lots of books. He loves to read and learn just like I do. Weird way to introduce myself on the forum but I'm getting to my point. What really turned me on and made me stand up and take notice of DLR is not just the awesome music, not just the fact that he was the hottest guy I had ever laid eyes on and super cool but it was the first time i actually heard the man speak in an interview. I was like whoa what a breath of fresh air. This man has a brain and he knows how to use it. I thought he was some new breed. A rock star with a brain? This man knows more words than the Webster's dictionary. This guy has a sexy sense of humour and can think faster than he can get the words out and by the time he was 28, he had done more than most people do in an entire lifetime. Its like he got all the best genes in the pool. At the top of my bucket list is to meet the toastmaster general of the immoral majority himself and have the most stimulating conversation of my life. Last time I saw him live in concert was in my hometown at our casino and he rocked our sox off. I remember walking through that casino one day with a friend and said out loud, "they should get David Lee Roth to perform here." The next thing I know I hear somebody at work mention that DLR was coming to the casino. I looked it up online and it was true. I could have got front row seats but my friend didn't know I was a fan and he couldn't go so gave the tickets away. That was way back in 2004. Now I hear an album is in the works but without Mike Anthony. I can't wait. Dave got wound up like a wind up doll on his conception and he'll never wind down. I wish he had of done some movies in his younger days though but music has always been Dave's number one lover and always will be.
