Arizona, Montana, New Jersey, and South Dakota legalized marijuana for all use. Montana also passed an initiative making the legal age for possession 21 years old.

Mississippi legalized Medical Marijuana and passed a resolution to set up a statewide system for it.

D.C initiative 81 decriminalized psilocybin.

Oregon passed a measure legalizing psilocybin therapy for treating mental illness, dementia, and other ailments,
and also decriminalized possession of all drugs.

So when the law goes into effect in Oregon on possession first offense of all drugs except pot, you get $100 fine OR drug treatment program. Manufacturing and Trafficking/possession of large amounts are still against the law though.

In short ALL referendums and ballot initiatives on legalizing or decriminalizing drugs in this year's election passed.

Possessing a small amount of those drugs would be redefined as a civil offense similar to a traffic violation.
