What do people think about bringing back the 'Groan' button?
Honestly, I can't remember why it wasn't brought back....
Because Sarge couldn't find a stable version for vBulletin 4.
Well, there ya go....
Odd that a "thanks" button would be stable, and the "groan" button would not. You would think the code would be almost identical.

well thank you for the thank you button.
Oh dear.
"Thanks" is probably built in, while groan is likely a mod.
Don't take away the moan button. These barbaric cultures that cut out a woman's clit are insane. She can't squirt without the moan button gone.
I intend to thank Dr Love for his sigs every time I see 'em.

never know with those silly php scripters...
Hey, anyone notice the thanks button has been fixed...it doesn't take you to the top of the page every time you click the thanks button now. Thanks to whoever fixed that.
thanks, LT. i'd thank you but i've used my daily quota.
I very much appreciate that the thanks button does not jump me to the top of the page anymore. It was annoying, but for some reason I never thought it could be changed.
Apparently, mine's fuckin' broken!! Lately when I thank someone for their post, it not only doesn't work, it also knocks me offline.
For the last few days (especially the last few days) people have been putting up stellar knock-it-out-of-the-park posts, and I can't even give them their props.
Please look into this (preferably before my conspiracy wheels start spinning and I start blaming this on 'the man')
Oh, and uh......"Thanks" in advance!
I have the same issue at work: Go to thank someone, get knocked off line. Even better, I can not log back in, but my name appears as being logged in at the bottom of the forum page! In my case, it has to do with the filters our work computers are beset with (which is another thread in and of itself). In yours, it could be a variety of things, none of which has to do with the actual workings and functions of the ARMY site. It could be anything from your internet connection, your computer's settings for allowing cookies, the parameters of your settings for screen size, your choice of add-ons, extensions or plug-ins, just to name a few.

Please forgive my moronocity, but why is there a limit on thanks? I plan on having this place figured out by 2017.
I understand where you all are coming from but I have not read 12 post's in the last several DAYS that deserved a thanks.
Maybe I missed something.
I kinda agree with Jager, I would think 12 is sufficient, but I raised it to 15 anyway....
I thank you for that!
Then maybe they need to keep their thanks in their pants!
Damn 'thanks' whores!
Don't regulate the thanks industry! Let the free market decide how many thanks we should get per day!
Down with regulations!!
Ron Paul is quoted as saying that NOWHERE in The Constitution is there the right for government to control the thanks button...
It's a States' Rights Issue
