Just listened to ED's solo from greensboro!!

Ed can still rip on that ole axe of his, He added a new feel to alot of his classic solo's. He aslo played a new piece that i never heard before, He definitly had a good tone. The joint sounded like they were playing in a can though. I know i have been bad for going to the links, but thats where i found the sight to hear the whole greensboro show in mp3 form. It's in the 2004 reunion forum. Can i say that Sammy ain't worth shit , He tried to sing in a lower register for all the classic tunes. The band sounded pretty tight for not playing live in such along time. We can all guess when the crowd came alive the most, which songs they were playing. Kind of sounded like crickets going off when they were playing the tunes from the Sammy years. Ed is still the shit on the guitar, but he got shit for brains when he let Sammy back in!!!

My feeling exactly. I think he's working his chops and they're slowly coming back. Three new tracks are abysmal but solo seemed an uphill climb since then.

The one thing I like that Eddie has added starting with Humans Being is the sustain switch he had built into his axe(which Vai all of a sudden started using after Eddie), it sounds cool.
