Isolated Randy Rhoads Guitar Tracks Surface Online?

OK, first things first. The article itself was published this morning at the Guitar World website, and includes three clips. The pisser is, not only were these posted at Youtube several months ago, but you can also find a boatload more created by a handful of posters at this link:

Isolated Guitar Track - Randy Rhoads

I don't have the time to listen to them all now (or be any authority on the quality or veracity), so you guys can judge for yourselves.

Isolated Randy Rhoads Guitar Tracks Surface Online?

By Josh Hart - Guitar World

It looks like three of Randy Rhoads' isolated guitar tracks have made their way online and onto YouTube. While there's no means of verifying their authenticity, the three clips sound pretty identical to the studio recordings of the songs, so chances are they very well could be the real deal.

Check them out in the videos below...

Randy was an F*ing genius. The way that dude could layer and orchestrate tracks has probably only been rivaled in recording history by Les Paul and Brian May.

I don't know about "Over The Mountain" there. It's obviously Randy playing, but it doesn't sound quite like the album track to me, for some reason. Possibly a rehearsal or something?

The others sound like the real deal though.

Sorta off-topic, but Thursday night when I saw Judas Priest in St. Louis, Ritchie Faulkner, the new kid, played a fantastic solo spot, I think it was in between songs or something. Gave the guys in the band a bit of a break, but anyway one of the things he suddenly started playing during the solo was the main riff for the Ozzy song "Missionary Man" off the "No Rest For The Wicked" album.

    I recognized it right away.

We now return to your regularly scheduled programme.

Missionary Man was the Eurythmics, I think? Though it probably was the first thing they did with a guitar in it.

It's the real deal. Trust me, I dissected that tune enough as a kid to know the real tracks when I hear 'em.

Nah, "Would I Lie To You" came out before that.
