What would be so hard about actually SINGING the song instead of lip syncing?

Think of how many audio setups they'd have to have to present every performer live on wireless mics. It's a nightmare, and impossible.
Oh dear.
I think network TV needs a little more than a Karaoke machine. Just sayin'.
That whole stupid so called parade was a bunch of lip syncing stupidity. Even my mom would rather watch football than three hours of that shit.

I can remember going to the Tournament of Roses parade in Pasadena in the 70's. Fabulous! Those floats were works of art. You had great marching bands and fabulous floats. Who wants to see some shit head lip syncing and sound engineers trying to do the impossible trying to make it sound good on the move? It's a parade. Not a television sound stage or a concert stage. That type of bullshit has no place in a parade. Have a college marching band march down the street and some clowns following it tossing candy to the kids. Then lets see the floats that took huge amounts of man hours to make and a couple big ass fucking balloons.
100% agree
Did both networks have it? Boy that's a first.
I'm slippin. I didn't even watch the dog show, largely because I knew who won. Those two years in the top ten really spoiled it all for me, I'm too jaded to enjoy it anymore. Maybe when the puppies go out.
Well, you would obviously know far better than I how those things are judged, but they never seem to pick the dogs that I think should win. I try to use deductive reasoning to come up with what these judges are thinking, and usually come up with a blank.
ah it's the wrong thread to try and explain all that shit - other than to say it's largely political.
lip sync fails are the best
