Well, it does happen to be a Tuesday, so it looks like an album release date to me. And given the fact that the first single from an album usually turns up a month or so before the album, I really wouldn't be surprised if we hear the first new Van Halen song since 1996, within the next week. Though it would have made more sense to use it with these new videos, instead of digging up the old hits again.

The video is for a new song shot at the roxy. Must be sitting on it for another week or so. I'm pumped to hear it. I hope the cd isn't called Bold as reported. I kind of like the 2/12 thing.

Dave's 'future/pasture' remark goes as far back as Relentless, if not, further.

One thing that reminds me particularly of the Jump video here is Dave's 5 or 6 wardrobe changes. The band, back then and now, stuck with whatever they were wearing as they walked through the door.

And I doubt he will recycle the wardrobe much....he has had a fashion stylist since the 70's making new gear each tour. We saw one jacket that is the same and the bandanna's around the neck are staples. Even in Hain's pic grab you have a new shirt and a new jacket.

You could be right. They wouldn't want to take anything away from the impact of the new single's release, but probably wanted to put something new out to announce the tour.
