I completely agree with you - 3/4 of the band is Dave, Ed and Al. But having that kid onstage - with his sorry fucking miserable stage presence (and it was sorry, I hate to say it but I was there on opening night and the kid sucked balls) is NOT what Van Halen represented or meant to the fans. I said it before and I'll say it again - if the brothers simply could NOT have Mike back in the band then FINE. They should have picked a bass player with some years on him and some experience under his belt. Not some kid who looked every night like a deer caught in the headlights of an SUV...
