I can recall one great thing that Penn Jillette did was place a steel copy of his "Bill of Rights" in his jacket everytime he entered airport security, and I found that very admirable.

I don't think the Rand Paul thing was a stunt... he was scheduled to speak at a large event that he was unable to make as a result. He was taken away by local authorities and told he was not allowed to go.
He asked to be scanned again ... that is a reasonable request. The response was not reasonable, I think.Comment

He was on his way to a looney pro life march. He beeped going through the scanner and refused to be patted down so he couldn't get on the plane.
He wanted to go through the scanner again rather than being patted down, eventually they let him.Comment
