I'm a big fan of little amps. I have about five different flavors at the moment. You crank them and they get the sound of a big amp without destroying the neighborhood. I like to run them into a Marshall 1x12 loaded with a greenback using a 25 watt Weber attenuator. I still use an attenuator because these little amps are still plenty loud.

For $100 you can get a Kustom 5H. A great little all tube amp and is friendly with every pedal I have.
