Cool. It works but it's slow as hell.
Wonder if that was part of the reason for this being a good launch pad, from the band's point of view ... It's also an intimate enough space that - if they wanted, or intended - they could stop folks from filming on iPhones and the like.
But, with a room full of journos, I'd imagine they mostly be 'too cool' to be seen as the one whipping out the smartphone.
Having said that ... surely there will be official press permission to take snaps, etc.
I wish like hell we could get a board feed like we used to when we shot concerts. They used to give you permission to shoot one minute of music and then all cameras were OFF.
I don't think there will be any shortage of pics and short video clips later on tonight....
And, of course, PLENTY of reviews....
