LMAO at all the shitheads saying they 'miss Michael Anthony'.
Wow, just wow.
Unreal.
How many would have actually missed bass player had he been dumped in '84?
Crickets......

I'd thank you but I'm all out...
Looks like the Osbournes (or should I say Osbourne as in one... Sharon?) took over the Sirius Channel that Trunk's show was on, and kicked him off.
Now he's doing his show on the Hair Metal station.
'Ozzy's Boneyard' is now pretty much a 24hr Ozzy/Sabbath commercial... not 100% Ozzy/Sabbath content, they still play the standard Boneyard content, but now it's like a 75/25 split between Ozzy/Sabbath and other stuff.
I rarely use my satellite radio to listen to music, but it was kinda cool to hear 'Johnny Blade' and 'Sign Of The Southern Cross' back to back on Sunday Morning.

Has Trunk acknowledged that Hagritte was wrong about the record sale figures? I do care what he thinks, but he should not endorse a habitual liar in Spammy and should point out people who have LIED on his show

To be fair, last night on That Metal Show he gave some SERIOUS love to A Different Kind of Truth. Talked at length about how phenomenal he thought it was, said every song but Tattoo was awesome. Florentine really liked it a lot as well, said it had eight great songs on it. Jamieson said he thought it had four great songs on it and the rest was ok.

But he HAS to. Because anyone with ears knows this album kicks ass & Eddie Trunk just can't get away saying anything negative about it without losing any shred of credibility he has left. Trust me, the guy would still toss Sammys salad and slit Roths throat to get Sam back in the band if given the chance.
Trunks opinion is usually what he thinks the cool peoples opinion is....so he thinks he fits in. I swear, he is exactly like Stewart in Beavis & Butthead trying to fit in with the cool kids by wearing his Winger shirt.
And this isn't just a VH thing. Maybe as a host he has to kiss everyones ass to keep them coming on the show.

I'm sure that plays into some of the stuff on the show, after all nobody is contractually obligated to be on that show and there has to be competition for interviews. BUT he was arguing the other two down about how good it was and he used a word that takes a little character to use in relation to oneself......
"WRONG"
Well, maybe he has finally seen the way of Roth & REAL Van Halen. I think this new album might correct a lot of fans that were Hagar fans before to what the Mighty Van Halen is capable of when firing on all cylinders. Just hard for me to give him the benefit of the doubt after all the shit he has said about our guy over the years. It's easy to say Dave is the man now. There have been times over the last 15 years where it wasn't so easy to stick by him........
.......we did.
I don't know. I think part of it is me being jealous or something. Not jealous, umm, can't think of the right words. But we have been supporting Dave and saying how great he is all these years and suddenly everyone hops on due to this great album claiming their love for the Diamond one. Kinda makes me angry. I don't know. But I DO know that you guys here at this site get what I'm trying to say. I suppose I gotta let it go & just enjoy the music. Still kinda irks me though.

I know where you are coming from brother. Let us not forget that on the next episode which was last week, the smackdown was between Eatem and Smile and 5150. Trunk took 5150 of course. The other two guys took EEAS and beat Ed down about how hard it was compared to 5150, no bad song on EEAS whereas 5150 was full of bad songs, and so forth. They sat there and named just about every song on EEAS and talked about how good they were and Trunk and the Dokken guys (Lynch, Pilson, and Brown) couldn't hardly name a song off of 5150 save for the hits.
I would also like to point out that on the episode in question where Trunk was arguing for A Different Kind of Truth over Metallica's Death Magnetic, a funny thing happened when they interviewed Jack Russell of Great White. Jack was talking about how the Great White guys had dicked him over by filing to renew the trademark in their name while he was sick and bed ridden. Jack said that the band would never be the same because they didn't have his voice. He said you can replace the other instruments and still have the voice and continue on. He likened what Great White is doing to be like Van Halen going on without David Lee Roth - it's just not the same. They showed Eddie Trunk's face when Jack said that and Eddie had the most pissed look on his face. He just sat there looking dumb - durrrrrrrrrr

At Least Trunk has been playing tunes from ADKOT on his radio show on 104.3 in nyc on Saturday Nights.....Heard Bullethead last week. Also heard Trouble With Never on 103.9 wrcn here on Long Island the other day. Makes me wonder why VH released Tatto as their first single.....

Yeah, but on one of the most recent episodes the end-of-show throwdown was Eat 'Em & Smile vs. 5150. Trunk was totally in the bag for Van Hagar.
The other two dipshit hosts were full-on Roth, wondering aloud how Trunk could prefer 5150 over such tunes as Shyboy and Elephant Gun. The guest panelists were Mick Brown, Jeff Pilson and George Lynch, and they all sided with 5150 as well, with Lynch piping in that all Eat 'Em ended up being was Roth's attempt to throw a band together that sounded like classic Van Halen.
It's like, um...yeah? Why NOT throw a band together that sounds like CVH?

Eat Em and Smile was Roth hired some hot shot players and tore the town up with them. End of story.

Eat Em and Smile was and still is a classic, kick ass rock and roll album. I liked skyscraper too but I will never understand why Dave deviated from the style of Eat Em'......Skyscraper always seemed like too much of a Vai album to me.
The EEAS band mopped the floor with Van Hagar. Particularly since EVH was then going into his "I don't want to be a guitar hero" mode.

I can't stand this fat hack. He still takes shots at DLR. He did a couple of weeks ago on TMShow if anybody saw it. Typical hagar fan. As for the album sales only a moron (hagar fan) would even debate it. Chart position can mean little many times. ZZ Top's Afterburner charted higher than Eliminator (#4 to #9 respectively) but Eliminator has doubled Afterburner in sales, it's not even close. Again only idiotic hagar fans....

I saw the ep on sat and to Trunk's credit he had nothing but praise for the album.

The most interesting question that can ever be asked is one that cannot be answered. Van Hagar or Van Halen, which is better?
And the Debate goes on!

Saw this episode also. Typical Trunk the Punk bullshit. How the FUCK can you compare the two? Didn't he say something about how awesome "Dreams" is? Really? I HATE that song!! (It makes me throw up in my mouth just a little......)
Isn't it called "That METAL Show"? The only thing metal about that song is that it makes my ears bleed like the sound of metal grating on metal!

Now he is Tweeting and posting on Facebook that "his sources" tell him that soft ticket sales are the reason for the postponements.
