As far as the website goes, it still exists. It could be back up today if I chose to do that. Why would I? This was my original home. My site only came about because this one went down for awhile there. What's wrong with this one? I think Sarge has done a fine job of his dedication to DLR. Does there really need to be another site? There's nothing wrong with this site at all. It is the one and only DLR/VH site I've ever actively contributed to, and when it went down, I waited for it to come back.
SARGE has done well beyond a "fine job" here. He has created THE premiere site for all things DLR/VH.

As for finances, I am quite comfortable . But the fact is I have a lot of things to spend my money on. A mortgage on a nice home, and two kids and my wife to care for. Trust me, friend, "less fortunate" is not a term used in relation to my position in life.
Apparently you're a lonely guy who fills his time building kit cars in his garage and spending exorbitant sums of money following Van Halen around. Which is fine if that's all you have going on, but I have quite a bit more on my plate. Classic Van Halen has been my favorite band since I was 11 years old, but seeing them once or twice a tour is enough for me.
I don't want to hear your VH resume, nor your internet history. I am not going to bother SARGE asking about your background. I don't give a flying fuck about you, Von.
My point was that if you're going get on the interweb and start running your fucking mouth at people about spending money, then you should spend a little of it supporting the site that is allowing you to do that.
