Maybe it's a product of who's really at the helm with the band and the shows... Wolfgang Van Halen.

Like a 3 year old adolescent, low in the family pecking order... all Dave can do is boss around the dog and the cat and put them into time-out to throw his muscle around...

as a singer myself I feel the same way...dave is a figthter and stands his ground but it seems to cost him a lot.

The person who wrote that review has their head screwed on straight. Or they were being screwed straight by a head....

You know what is great about this tour? No props, no special FX....save the giant screen, just lights, sound, amps, instruments and kickass musicians to play them.

They are showing the world that you don't need a lot of smoke and mirrors to put on a great show.

Sort of like how Kiss shows the world that smoke and mirrors can create a great show without superior musicianship, lol.

Not meaning to trash Kiss, as music-wise, they do a lot with what they have....

But the Mighty Van Halen has a nice stripped-down show that showcases the BAND and nothing else.

Well, almost nothing else.....Dave's dogs get showcased, lol. Not only in concert, but one of them appears on the album as well!

I am so fucking happy I got to see them on this tour. After 24 motherfucking years......wow. All I can say. WOW!

I have to say, after watching about half that Vegas show video, that Dave is either talking the lyrics or singing in a lower octave in more songs as compared to earlier in the tour....

Just being objective.....

That's a shame you guys--two of the most enthusiastic fans on here--weren't able to catch a show on this leg. I mean of course you still could but I know that would involve a lot of money. I hope you at least got to catch a show in 2007-08.
