I don't understand why Michael Anthony and Satriani are hitching their wagons to Sammy....65 yrs old or not....when Sammy was 35 he was lame....nothing exciting about that guy at all....sooooo vanilla
Does Michael Anthony have a meaningful choice if he wants to keep playing music for crowds of more than 50 people? He wasn't part of Van Halen's future even if he offered to be a volunteer butler for Eddie. It was "Wolf or the grave" and while Mike's hanging out with Sammy didn't help, it didn't matter.
Satriani I don't understand at all, he's had an accomplished career already.
Satch said that he was tired of being a solo artist onstage and being in a band let's him relax and do less work. Soboleski stuck with Sam because he has limited skills and limited options.
So basically ---- you got a lazy guy (Satriani) and a limited skills guy (Soboleski) hanging around with a cunt who's both lazy and short on skills (Sambo).
It all makes perfect sense to me.

As much as it pains me, I will give Sammy a pass on this one. Maybe they just added the song to the set-list last minute like was done to Dave recently. I forget the song but Captain Dave is a gamer & did what he could to deliver.
Edit - I take it back. At least the song Dave had to check was kick ass. This chickenface song sucks. I wouldn't want to remember any of it either.
Wow that song utterly blows. But then again it's unrealistic to expect anything but boring, dumbed down music from Hagar. You'd have no idea that Satriani is a world-renowned guitarist from that song; Hagar just drags everyone down to his low level in a reverse Midas touch kind of way.
It really is a stinker. Sammy would have selected it as the opening tune for the Monsters Of Rock show after Metallica just melted the crowd.

Dave is fuckin' hysterical! Literally made me laugh out loud. He is the best - no other frontman/singer can do it all like Dave - he sings and dances his ass off, makes you laugh, and looks sexy (IMO) doing it. Not to mention the fact that he wrote all of the amazing lyrics he's singing. Fuck the critics. Fuck Spammy and Chickenshit. We know who the legend is.
