Eat Us And Smile - The Originals
"I have a very belligerent enthusiasm or an enthusiastic belligerence. I’m an intellectual slut." - David Lee Roth
"We are part of the, not just the culture, but the geography. Van Halen music goes along with like fries with the burger." - David Lee Roth
So, who will be joining me at this show!?!
You know I'm there....
Diamond Mafia Forever - 4. To restore fullbug to the prominent place in this board, after various serious attacks by hitch1969 have now damaged his reputation and now is reguarded as a "Retarded, Stoned, Canadian, Dog finger bangin' fuckup"
I'm there!
Trolls take heed...LOG OUT & FUCK OFF!!!
I see your both from Southern Ontario, you two next door neighbours?
i'll be there. i need to bring some beer back, may as well catch a show while i'm there.
One short subway ride from the ACC....
Tell me the time and the place...
Tommy, Splooge, Carm........Shoes......
I'll be coming down from Ottawa. 2nd stop on my 3 show adventure.
Of course.
I expect that I will be consuming my pre-show libations at C'est What. 10 minute walk to the ACC...

The Zanzibar on Yonge Street is about a 20 minute walk. I haven't been there in ages so I can't comment on quality.
The Brass rail is further up Yonge and is about a 45 minute walk. Again, it's been a while. Quality used to be superior to the Zanzibar.
There's a third one on King St West called For Your Eyes Only. Never been there, probably a 30 minute walk.
Its a shame Lou has disappeared from the scene, he was a nice guy to meet....
Shoes cannot do Toronto, sorry
Oh dear.
Yay!!
I have 2 sets
:-)
And I'm not even a leafs fan

Just ordered my tickets. Couldn't even touch the $167 GA, kept saying there were none available. Section 107 for me
Tix are in 323.
Much like my Buffalo purchase, selection wasn't great.
Opted for cheaper seats that were only about 15 rows back from the $$$$ ones that I was offered.
Hoping that we get a big crew to the pre-show festivities!
I'll hunt for better tickets for the second show when it's announced on Saturday.
2... I was assured that you're in good hands.
Why sad?
I'm so looking forward to missing Kool and the Gang twice...
Shit, waiting for a long overdue government cheque that may or may not arrive in the next 3 weeks, they stiffed me for a tax credit that they have to pay me now, and waiting on it, I may have to just buy a single ticket if I can get one when it comes, but thats OK as long there is a pre-party like last time in '07.....
What's the best nudie bars to visit before the show (close to the arena) ??
ewps...
Ha Ha, but you got a point Twona, I guess I have never got into anything other then classic rock, and blues, and country when I was 9, but must come from the fact that if I ever said I was into Kool and the Gang in high school my ass would have been kicked, and to this day I do not get the like of that stuff.....
i was fortunate (or maybe i wasn't lol) to grow up right on the edge of two neighborhoods (or maybe we'll call it one big diverse neighborhood) and go to racially diverse schools. all that music and culture was making an impression far before MTV came to town. then i'd go stay at my uncle's on the weekend and spin all his Doors and Stones albums, and steal his porn mags lol. between the two, it explains a lot, i guess.
and i wasn't into Ozzy, Rush, Zeppelin, a lot of that, all through high school. it was all New Wave and funk. i knew what everything else was, through MTV and when WMMS was still good, but i didn't own any of that.
