Dave is kicking all kinds of ass on this tour ---- chewing out audio crew, lighting crew, and douchers fighting ---- he's in rare form. Bust their balls, Dave!

It's all part of Dave's act. The VH crew all seemed to like Diamond Dave in fact, a good percentage went to work for Dave when he left VH in 85.

Just returned to the Fabulous TommyV Estate after an epic evening with the world's best fucking band ever.
This was a better show that we got last week in Buffalo..tighter, more professional (if that makes sense), just a better vibe all around.
We got Full Bug (the song, not the person), Girl Gone Bad and Unchained as the opener. Romeo's Delight was dropped. Everything else was as is (not the song).
The pre-show festivities commenced at 1:00 as we hit downtown and enjoyed the company of thousands of Irish lasses. We hit C'Est What at about 3:30. Lou (Looooouuuuuuu!) was the first to join us. Guwapo joined us shortly afterwards. And that concludes our roll call. From the look of things, Moose chose to take in Kool and the Gang instead of enjoying C'Est What's famous 'Testicles on a Plate'. Makes you wonder about his....
The Rock n Roll Kid passed her driver's license test yesterday, turned 21 at midnight and saw Van Halen.
All in all, a fabulous day.

Agree with TommyV this show was way better than Buffalo and that was a great show

Just got back from the ACC. Was in section 104, lower bowl facing the stage at the back.
Man, tonight was great. I thought Dave was exceptionally great.
Funny thing about the spotlights. I noticed at the start of Women In Love I think it was...Ed didn't have a spotlight on him and seemed to have a hard time seeing his fretboard when nailing those harmonics. He turned around to find some more light elsewhere. Then the spotlight returns to him, then moves away again. I saw Ed in the big screen mouth a fuck you to the spotlight guy. At least two other times he didn't have a spotlight on him when he should have like in GGB, and even Dave a couple of times.
Other than that, it was killer. My only complaint is I want more! Do an evening with Van Halen ...play 2 separate 45 minute sets without an opening act...
