Van Halen, Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees and one of the most important and influential rock bands of all time, announced their return to the live stage. Their 2012 North American tour includes a stop at First Niagara Center on March 9th at 7:30pm, with special guest, Kool & The Gang.
Fans can expect Van Halen to perform selections from their new album, A Different Kind Of Truth alongside songs from their arsenal of epic hits that include: "Eruption," "Running with the Devil," "Jamie's Cryin'," "You Really Got Me," "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love,” "Everybody Wants Some," "Unchained," "And The Cradle Will Rock,” "Beautiful Girls,” "Mean Street," "Somebody Get Me A Doctor,” "Jump," “Panama," "Hot For Teacher," "I'll Wait," and more from their classic albums Van Halen, Van Halen II, Women and Children First, Fair Warning, Diver Down and 1984.
Tickets go on sale Saturday, January 14th at 10am. Tickets are $129.50, $79.50, $39.50 and $29.50, which include $2.50 facility fee. There will be a random handbill policy in effect. OK - the Hyatt it is. I think I'll see if I can get a large table at the Pearl Street Grill before and find some place with music to go after. Erie county closes bars at ***4AM***** so there's plenty of time to party after.
