Hi everyone, Dan here from Iowa. Been a lurker for alot of years, way back to Slaughterhouse. Love Dave in and out of Van Halen. Been a fan since 79 when my brother played VH 1 for me on his turntable, hooked eversince. Just wanted to introduce myself to everyone and make some new friends. Cant wait for the new CD, love what Ive heard so far. Thanks everyone hopefully VH comes to Omaha, NE on the new tour. Saw them in 2008, and it was awesome. Later.

So why'd you pick your name? Because "Sensible Shoes" is the BESTEST ROTH SOLO SONG EVER!!!!??????
I picked it because the song is excellent, but more so I always thought this was Dave's song to Ed, about the split from Van Halen, how he really felt about the whole thing since his departure in 85. And the timing of it with the new club show concert, news, cd and 2012 tour, I thought it was fitting. Just my 2 cents.
It never hurts to have an extra pair of shoes handy. Especially sensible ones.
