The venues want a taste of the merchandise sold in their venues. It's why the costs of merchandise is so high now. They ream you to park, you pay $200 for a ticket. The beer is $10. A shirt is $30. I'm surprised they don't charge you to go to the pisser. That will be next.

Back in the early 90s some friends of mine opened for Kings X at the local Coliseum in Wichita, KS.
We only wanted to sell the shirts for 10 bucks each, and I was in charge of merch....but they said no, they had to sell them for 22 bucks. I think we actually sold 5 shirts, but we would have sold a lot more if we were allowed to sell them at the price we wanted.
Oh well. Live and learn.
Fortunately I have over 2 months to get my shirt before the mighty Van Halen arrives....

One for me, and one for my 12 year old son. He's stoked about having a shirt that says "Kick Ass" on the front. I just need to make sure that he doesn't wear it to school, because in these politically correct times he will be sent home to change...

Got mine today and this is no piece of shit, my friend. Good quality fabric and the artwork is slightly raised and done very well - way too nice for the typical non-fashionable dipshits in here like me, but I digress...damn nice shirt.

FYI we ran out of a few sizes already. The 2nd order is ready to print within a week and that should update the cart.
This was a lot harder to take than I expected, but I did it!

I'm totally impressed with the quality of these shirts as well.. the printing is nice & solid and the shirt is great quality. Everyone should get at least 1...
