That Chickenshit song is laughably unoriginal. If that took him more than 5 minutes to write then he's a fucking idiot.

The most notable difference here, other than the fact this website compared a picture of Hagar to Guy Fieri (lol) is that in the picture of David Lee Roth...Edward Van Halen is standing behind him....
Without Van Halen...without David Lee Roth....Sammy Hagar does not exist...

Most of the chickenfeed fans are fucking women anyhow. Women with sand in their vaginas apparently. I don't get the appeal for sammy by these lonely fucked up women
and men who admit to liking hagar > roth should just be shot.
I voted, twice. 160 comments aint very much so i wonder how many people actually voted.. this forum could swing the results VASTLY if thats the case.

Different Devil - Very forgettable song.
Tattoo - Can't get it out of my head.
Little thing I discovered about that poll... I selected the radio button for Tattoo and went to hit [Vote] and noticed the radio button went back to Different Devil right before I clicked... looks like it's rigged, but then again the page was still loading. Anyone that has ever programmed web pages knows you can set the default button at any time while the page is loading or when it's completed or any number of events like hovering over a certain area. Me thinks a bit of trickery is going on to make sure Chickenshit stays ahead. Try it and be wary.
The real truth is on Youtube, check out the number of views for both videos, Tattoo crushes DD.
Note - I really gave it an honest listen and truthfully it doesn't make me puke but I can sleep easily tonite without listening to it again.

It just sounds...lazy and unfinished, as if it was a first draft and recorded on the spot. The chorus (such as it is) doesn't really settle itself, so the song sort of just meanders around without any climax or resolution. And WTF is up with the seemingly random chords used to end the song? This isn't the first time the hack has pulled this, either. Take a listen (if you can stomach it) to "Finish What You Started", a tune with one of the most ironic titles in recorded history. The moron didn't even bother to come up with a chorus for the damned thing, instead relying on a "Hey, ain't we bitchin' for using acoustic guitars" attitude during a half-assed attempt at John Mellencamp territory that didn't so much suggest cornfields as it did outright corn.

okay...I got a little bent over there....
"You have to be a G** Damn fool to think "Hot-Sauce" was the "strength of VAN HALEN. DAVID LEE Roth's worst material is like a P.H.D compared to Spammy Haggis' 3rd grade word drool. Maybe you people wanted another "Why can this be Love walks in Don't tell me what LoveWhen it's Love, What's Love got to do with it" Bullshit of Hagar's. Spammy turned the band into Jounrey...they were the G'N'R of their day with DAVE in the band. Chickenshit can't hold a candle to DAVID LEE ROTH in VAN HALEN."

What has always bugged me about Sammy Hagar fans is that there is something frighteningly delusional about people that not only prefer a crummy, run of the mill, under-heated McDonald's hamburger to a decently prepared steak, but seem to have the irrational need to prove that it somehow tastes better.

Why is there still the fascination with Sammy with some of you? Finally get what seemed impossible and you still cry about Hagar for some reason. He will probably end up like solo Dave;sparsely attended club shows, scrapped tours, albums selling in the hundreds. It's like you don't want to be happy. VH will soon have the number one album in the country, already number one single....fuck, what is wrong with you?

Whenever I hear\ ( i don't waste my ears) about cluckshoe,.. I always think that I as a Roth/VH fan am digging a really cool underground band that no-one gets or has heard yet.
Like I am some cool cat with a beret digging fine booze and super fine foxes. Sanding in the alley with a nice little smirk on my face, at the -non gets its- passer by's, of this crazy jungle baby.
Actually I don't feel any way like any of that I just wanted to write some shit in this dumb thread..lol.
Just say no to, cluckshoe.

I tried to vote for Tattoo earlier this morning and nothing happened when I hit the button - like a javascript problem, or something. I guess normally you'd get the result of the poll after hitting 'vote', but I got nada, so I am guessing that the vote - attempted vote - did not count.

The Army was built as a fighting response against those who talked down on Dave's name and CVH (most notably Spammy fans).
Let us take it back to the battle fields once again.
You have your marching orders.

Well here's some poetic justice for ya! Looks like that poll was just a fart in the wind, cuz' =VH= is on the front page!

LOL!
Hell yeah!!!
That's what I'm talkin' about!
There was a time where no Spammy McFagar/Van Fagar fan was spared. And now they are running their mouths; slagging Dave and VH - - and fucking chickens at will!
Will we stand for that injustice??!!!!
NO!
Time to take out the trash.

That little piece pissed me off though, because it just made it harder to wait 3-1/2 weeks to get the album!!!
Van Halen’s ‘A Different Kind of Truth’ is ‘Heavier Than Expected’ According to Early Listeners
by: Matthew Wilkening 5 hours ago
Reportedly a few lucky people have already gotten to hear the new Van Halen record ‘A Different Kind of Truth,’ well ahead of its Feb. 7 street date. Judging from the internet accounts of these highly guarded listening sessions, the band’s first outing with original singer David Lee Roth in nearly 30 years is going to make fans pretty happy.
MelodicRock.com reports that one retailer, who had an Interscope executive fly out for a special playback session, labeled the record “overall, heavier than I expected,” and singled out the songs ‘China Town,’ ‘Big River’ and ‘Beats Workin” as highlights. They also went on to say that ‘She’s the Woman,’ as previewed at the band’s recent New York City club show, was better than the official first single ‘Tattoo.’
A post on the VHLinks message board quotes another, unnamed source, who runs down every song on the album in mostly favorable terms, and also declares ‘A Different Kind of Truth’ “better than anticipated.” They go so far as to cite ‘You and Your Blues’ as “probably the coolest VH track I’ve heard,” adding they “didn’t think Eddie had this sort of thing in him.” Which boggles our mind a bit — what hasn’t Edward Van Halen shown he can do with a guitar?
If this review is accurate the record also features a couple of ballads, including “real surprise” ‘As Is,’ which is described as “melodic, slower, understated in many ways” and ultimately, “the best track on the album.” Of course, these reports should be taken with a grain of salt. Hopefully soon enough we’ll all get our chance to hear this eagerly anticipated album. Until then, it’s a steady diet of the first six albums on repeat out here, how about you?

Great post buddy.
Now I don't know what the situation is in America, but Down Under I'm yet to hear any Chickefoot material on our mainstream rock radio stations, from either of their albums. On the other hand, our most popular station TripleM is playing Tattoo - says it all really.
